Alfred Cerezo
After over 25 years in academia, Alfred is taking a break to spend
time on other interests, particularly music. He has been a member of
the Club since he moved to Clitheroe in 2009. He made a valuable contribution in organising the 2010 Jazz Festival, and continued his involvement with the 2011 Festival.
Since November 2010 he has been a Board member.
Alfred is also learning to play tenor sax, and hopes one
of these years to be able to take part in a gig, rather than just
helping organise them!

Geoff Jackson
Treasurer
Geoff Jackson, a founder member of Ribble Valley Jazz & Blues in 2007, has undertaken the responsibility of both Chairman and Treasurer, and played a large part in developing the club from its beginnings.
Geoff began his interest in jazz music at Duke Ellington's Manchester concerts in the early 1970s.
Since then Geoff's jazz portfolio has broadened considerably, avidly following modern big band music, but with a keener interest in contemporary jazz - Soweto Kinch for starters!
A former youth worker, Geoff is particuarly keen to involve young people in jazz music.
