The Ribble Valley Jazz Festival

An exciting line up of leading national and international jazz performers in the superb setting of the town of Clitheroe in the beautiful Ribble Valley.
The two main venues are The Grand, a state of the art performance centre, and The Atrium Cafe in the unique setting of the 12th century Norman Castle. Maps and directions can be found on the venue page of this website.

SUNDAY 2nd MAY.

12.00 midday. THE AL WOOD BIG BAND and St. Christophers School Swing Band and St. Augustines School Swing Band at The Grand tickets

3.30 pm THE PAUL RIGBY JAZZ QUARTET at The Atrium tickets

8.00pm SIMON SPILLETT with The Steve Berry Trio at The Atrium tickets 

 

MONDAY 3rd MAY

2.00pm Closing Latin Jazz Party with MAS Y MAS at The Grand tickets

 

In addition to these events, there is a free Saxophone Workshop conducted by Alan Barnes at The Grand on Friday 30th April at 5.00pm to 6.00pm, and a free presentation on woodwind and some jazz related topics by Emma Wakerley from Clitheroe Music at The Grand on Saturday morning from 10.30 am to 11.30 am.

Free Cafe Jazz is available from 12.30 midday to 2.00 pm at various cafes around Clitheroe, and Dinner Jazz from 6.00 to 7.30 pm so that you will never go without the jazz between the gigs. Details of these can be found in the brochure. Also look out for live jazz in the outdoor areas around Clitheroe over the weekend.
