Sadly we've had to cancel. We'll try and re-arrange this gig or at least put a collection of his music and performances together.

Victor Brox Trio, featuring: Victor-keys, guitar and trumpet/Clive ‘Blues Boy’ Mellor-harmonica and Bo Lee-bass.

Something of a blues legend in the UK, Victor has enjoyed playing with many of the ‘greats’ during the blues boom revival of the 60s and later. This role-call is impressive, though Victor is primarily known for his work with Ansley Dunbar’s Retaliation. He is of course also father to another contemporary blues singer, Kyla!

Pete Oxley & Nicolas Meier 10 Guitars

MONTHLY CLUB GIG | Pete Oxley & Nicolas Meier '10 Guitars'

Pete Oxley & Nicolas Meier: 'masterly guitarists'.

"These are two masterly guitarists, although very different in style. Oxley has been playing on the British jazz scene since 1997, with everyone from Stacey Kent to Gilad Atzmon, while Meier, originally from Switzerland, has toured the world, absorbing musical idioms en route. In the course of these dozen pieces the array of changing sounds, moods and textures they create is gorgeous, fascinating and apparently endless. Don’t fall into the trap of assuming that this is something exclusively for guitar buffs, or even jazz buffs. If you love music of any kind you’ll probably fall for this."
